Before continuing with submissions, you must configure the Qtac software for Smart Pension integration - https://support.qtac.co.uk/support/solutions/articles/17000140924-smart-pension-direct-setup-link

  1. Prior to running payroll, you should retrieve employee opt outs from Smart Pension, allowing Qtac to action them during your payroll run
  2. Go to 'Auto Enrolment' > 'Smart Pension Direct' > 'Retrieve Opt States'

  3. Press 'Retrieve' 




  4. Once complete, the bar will fill and the message will be displayed below and this confirms the process is complete
